Artist and Activist Tamagne Beyene discussed Ethiopian current political affairs with Bahir Dar youths.
During the discussion ESAT, Patriotic Ginbot 7 and ethnic politics are some of the questions the youth asked and expressed their opinions.
The first round of Patriotic Ginbot 7 Movement for Unity and Democracy, freedom fighters returning home following the agreement between PM Abiy Ahmed’s administration and Patriotic Ginbot 7 leaders in Washington DC.
According to reports Patriotic Ginbot 7 rebels are closed camps in Eritrea before heading to Ethiopia.
When the Patriots passing through small towns in Gondar people welcomed them warmly.
Ethiopian artist and activist Tamagne Beyene received a warm welcome when he arrived in Addis Ababa.
People in Addis Ababa displayed and waved the historical Ethiopian flag everywhere to show their support what Tamagne Beyene stand for, unity, rule of law and equality for every citizen.
Other Ethiopian cities are also expressing their feeling of Tamagne Byene’s arrival.
The beloved artist/singer Ejigayehu Shibabaw a.k.a Giji father decorated his famous Dib Anbessa hotel in Bahir Dar with Ethiopian flag and Tamagne Beyene’s picture.
And of course Gondar, the birthplace of Ethiopian’s hero Tamagne Beyene.

Ethiopian prime minister Abiy Ahmed held a lengthy press conference in Addis Ababa. PM Abiy answered all sorts of questions for hours.
ESAT interviewed Ato Nigussu Tilahun, Amhara regional, state communication head. Ato Nigussu responded to Bereket Simon’s accusations following his dismissal from Amhara National Democratic Movement (ANDM).
